Cosa? Chi ci ha soddisfatto con il garbo, la sottile ironia, la positività del sorriso della signora e la gentilezza rude ma schietta del marito. Ci rimarrà impressa la tranquillità del posto, l'incanto di Certaldo Alto e certamente l' "ovino" preparato a colazione, con amore e in tutte le sue varianti. Un orgoglio di cui i signori vanno giustamente fieri perchè sono uova ruspanti. Un ricordo piacevole per una vacanza breve, ma certamente intensa e ricca di profonde emozioni.

Il Pianigiano was very clean and the breakfast was good. Fresh eggs from their chickens was great! The location was fairly close to the train station, especially by bicycle, and we took day trips to Florence, Siena, and Pisa with no problem. The castle at the top of the town was cute. The ability to do laundry (washer only) was also a plus. Great value for the money!

It was stated in the website that they spoke English but this was not the case when we were there. We were told by the other guests that the son who speaks English was on holiday. We got along alright but it would have been nice to be able to ask questions about the area.

We had a very wartm welcome even though we arrived late at night (12.30). They didn't speak English and we didn't speak italian but that didn't seem to matter. Breakfasts were really good and started the day off well. It was simply a very nive place to stay, very quiet and close enough to Cerlado to walk in if necessary.

Very friendly staff who could not do enough to please us! We had our five month old baby with us and we could not of been made to feel more welcome by staff and other guests. Lovely breakfast too.

The owners and family were very hospitable and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast was lovely and especially the delicious scrambled eggs and croissants.

Just about everything was perfect! Great that we could use the computer with internet, kitchen, garden and the bikes. It is also close to the trainstation to catch the train for Florence and other places.

Difficult to find. The description on the brochure that we recieved when we left could be posted on the website.

Beautifully positioned in the quiet countryside yet close enough to town for supermarket & restaurants. Very friendly staff. Clean, well appointed room. I was satisfied in every way.

The arrow on the web site map showing its position was almost 1km out, which made it rather difficult to find.

Everything about this place is fantastic. A washing maching is also available for the guests. A very good location to make day trips to Sienna, Pisa etc. Very hospitable and helpful staff, even picking up and delivering you to train station. A fridge and stove available to make own meals if desired. Even took our laundry in when we were out and it started to rain. We had a fantastic stay.

We were all very satisfied with our stay. Christiano was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

Possibly the room could have been slightly bigger and the beds were quite small when split (in the twin room).
