    The room needs some repair and the quality/price rapport also is not very good. There were also some problems with internet. The staff was helpful, but there were quite funny incident when we were leaving the room. We were almost out of b&b (there were three flights of stairs), when we heard the footsteps and the voice of receptionst, that was shouting:"excuse me, have you paid for your room?" Of course we paid, i gave exactly him(!) money one day before and he asked me if i need a bill. My first thought was do i need this, but then said yes i took it. I hoped that they have some kind of accounting in their computer, so it was not pleasant and strange question for us.

    posizione centralissima, a due passi da tutto quello che si può visitare in questo splendido paesino turistico...
    il parcheggio è troppo distante dalla struttura: circa 2 km sotto il sole!
    la raccolta differenziata del vetro proprio sotto casa alle 7 del mattino !

    excellent location between the beach and shops. good overview over the sea with a nice terrace
    the breakfast is served in a 3mn - walk Café and it is not a real breakfast: coffee and a flabby croissant.Waiters not pleasant.

    tres propre tres belle vue de la terrasse, accueil tres correct. .
    dommage que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas servi sur la terrasse plutot qu'avec un ticket au café de la place du Duomo.
    manque de précision sur le nombre de lit par chambre:nous étions 7 et nous avons eut des chambres pour 10.
    quelques escaliers pour arriver aux chambres

    la posizione felicemente al centro
    non vengono pulite le stanze giornalmente come in tutti gli altri b b dove sono stato in sicilia per la colazione bisogna uscire e andare in un bar...il costo esoso della stanza

    Bellissimo, come posizione sul mare, pulito, sempre disponibili a darti degli ottimi consigli. Io penso per chi ha girato che sia diffile trovare un b&b come Dolce Vita. Complimenti, ritorneremo sicuramente. (Grazie di cuore)

    Unterstützung vom Personal für den weiteren Reiseverlauf. Lage zum Zentrum einfach Ideal. Darunterliegendes Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Die große Terasse am Morgen....herrlich !
    Parkmöglichkeit liegt weit entfernt.
    Anreise mit Navi kompliziert, da Einbahnstrassen verwirren. ( Neu hinzu kamen ?! )

    water off during our stay, so no availability of shower after climbing the rock!

    The location was good anc central to the old district as well as the port.
    Very cold atmosphere, internet only worked on the first landing stairs so everyone would have to sit on the stairs a few floors below the rooms to access the "free" internet service. The staff was completly unhelpful or friendly and we heard the same from other guests who were staying there simultaneously. They were told if they didn't like it they could just leave. I've stayed in a lot of bed and breakfasts - and if you're looking for something a little warmer with charm and personal graciousnous.

    Dolce Vita is in a great central location on a charming street which is not too noisy. It has a large communal balcony overlooking the sea - a great place to relax on a warm day or watch the sunset at dusk. It has clean, simple rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed my time there. I would stay there again.
    During the time I was there there was an over-population of kittens. Entertaining at first but then a bit smelly!

    Ottima la posizione, in centro a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dalla cattedrale. La camera pulita e carina. bellissima la terrazza sul mare
    fastidioso l'odore di fritto che sale ogni tanto negli orari dei pasti dal ristorante vicino e le 2 rampe di scale ripide faticose con i bagagli

    Cefalu and dolce-vita was SUPERB what a place, very helpful and the location was great, it,s a great place to have a holiday, and I hope to get back there one day, if not I have great memoreys
    The parkink in Cefalu was a nightmare, I had to perk 10 minuets away, and with luggage it was a stuggle, I had to park opossite the beach for 10 euros a day, this was the only thing wrong. they should have warned us about this, but don,t let this put you off.

    Really nice terrace with sea view, big room with nice balcony. Authentic details (stairs, floors etc) Nice owners, who fixed a problem immediately. There was a little kitchen with useful equipment.
    Beds were a little uncomfortable (thin matrasses). Only one set of keys for three people.

    Es un lugar encantador, magnificamente emplazado, con unas bonitas vistas. Pero lo mejor es su personal, altamente cualificado profesionalmente, y a destacar su gran hospitalidad. Si paso otra vez por la ciudad, sin dudarlo, volveré.

    The room was spacious and clean with a large double bed, fridge for keeping wine and beer cold and little deck overlooking the old town. We really enjoyed using the large communal deck out the front of the building - beautiful views and a great place to have a quiet drink and watch the sun set from. Location excellent and staff very friendly.
    Nothing - we would definitely recommend this place.

    We were 2 couples travelling by car. We found the position very central. Good deck out the back over looking the water. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
    My only suggestion would be to equip the common kitchen better. It seems there were about 4 to 5 rooms but not enough utensils to go around. Particularly wine glasses - not one - I would expect this to be the first thing to find in the cupboard in Italy. Drinking a good wine out of a plastic throw away is not the same.

    Standard & style of accommodation
    On arrival, the refusal of one member of staff to assist with carrying luggage up steep flights of stairs. Bad start but excellent finish!

    The location was excellent...on the water and located within walking distance of almost everything.
    It appeared that there was work being done on the B&B. The room had an unpleasant odor that did go away after we left the windows open. The linens and bed spread seemed to be in need of replacement.

    It is in the middle of Cefalu, we think "the most beautiful place"of Sicilie. The owner is very kind, speaks very good english, the seaview is wonderful.
    Poor breakfast, the second day it was even closed.

    Camera molto pulita e carinamente arredata, ottima la posizione e bellissima la vista sulla viuzza centrale di cefalù.
    Un po troppe rampe di scale che con le valigie è un po difficile fare, non ci è stata data la coperta per il letto non si sa per quale motivo,e invece di un lenzuolo grande per coprirci ci sono stati dati lenzuoli singoli(notare che avevamo un letto matrimoniale).Un pò rumoroso, e inoltre vieni anche disturbato dai turisti che salgono per cercare il proprietario per chiedere se ha disponibilità di camere, perchè il suo ufficio è sopra la terrazza ma non c'è nessuna indicazione per queste persone, che logicamente si infilano nel corridoio dove ci sono le stanze e bussano a tutti finche qualcuno non gli indica dove sta il proprietario.

    The location was perfect! The view was amazing! The room was large - it was actually a small apartment complete with washer (though ours was not working at the time). It is very basic which is perfect for us - though others may prefer more "frills." Our room was literally right over the water - we could se and hear the waves. We did not have any issues with outside noise or the restaraunt below. It was a basic, quiet room with an outstanding view and the price for three people was more than reasonable! I would go back to La Dolce Vita.
    It would have been nice if the washer worked. I also think they could spend a little time fixing up the common patio.

    Directions to the B&B were not clear - neither were we warned we might have problems with parking! (It took two hours to find a space!)

    We were absolutely delighted with everythind dolce vita provided. It was in a great location with wonderful sea views. It was great to have use of a terrace to relax on at the end of a busy day. The fact that there was a kitchen and living room area was a brilliant suprise. We will be back and recommending you to all our friends.

    We has a fantastic room with a balcony that opened right out onto the sea.
    Quite a few stairs to get up to the B&B, so may not be suitable for elderly.

    We had a sea view room and it was lovely and Franko was very friendly. It was always quiet and you could have lunch/ dinner on the outside terrace which was great. great location..Perfect for budget and comfort.
    the noise at the front was not good. if you had a front room you would hvae had no sleep!! The scaffolding outside the front was not ideal either. Also, it would have been better to have a room with private balcony.
