   We were warmly met by the son of the owner, Gianluca and welcomed to their beautiful apartment, which was spotlessly clean, comfortable and airy. The food supplies were such a lovely touch and "gratefully received." Transport for the airport, upper and lower towns is very close by, as is the funicular which IS fun! The owners provided us with excellent directions from the airport to the apartment which made our arrival easy and stress free. We had a fabulous short break and certainly recommend this accommodation.

   The accommodation was of a high standard, spacious and complete with all mdern comforts. The apartment was easy to reach on the bus service from the airport and was well posiioned for both access to Citta Alta and Citta Bassa.

   I understood from the website description that the apartment was located in the interior of the old town (Citta Alta) in Borgo Canale district. The accommodation is actually outside the walls a good (10+ mins from the heart of the old town). It is however well located between both Citta Alta and Citta Bassa and represents a good base for a rewarding stay in Bergamo.

   Everything during our stay was perfect. When we arrived by taxi from the airport our host greeted us at the door , showed us the immaculate apartment and left us in peace. The apartment is finished to a very high standard, by far the best of any I've stayed in anywhere. It is convenient to the Citta Alta and the Citta Bassa and easy access to and from the airport. The neighbourhood cafes and restaurants are great and the staff friendly and helpful. I couldn't praise the apartment and it's locality enough. Highly recommended to everyone.

   Great place , no problems at all.

   Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, man lebt unter den Leuten!! Schneller Weg zur Oberstadtund zur Neustadt. Gute Atmosphäre. Die "laute" Straße ist in Italien eben Standard!!

   Geschirrausstattung mäßig. Weingläser haben wir gekauft (und dort gelassen). Keine Eierbecher, kein brauchbarer Korkenzieher und weitere solche Kleinigkeiten!!!!
   TV: Kein brauchbares internationales Programm - überwiegend italienische Krawallsender. Kein Empfang von Radioprogrammen -- dann sollte wenigstens ein extra Radio (mit CD-Teil) vorhanden sein.

   Die Wohnung war einfach super und die Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig. Die Lage ist zentral, man ist schnell an der Bushaltestelle und in der Citti Alta und kleine Geschäfte (z.B. für Brötchen) sind in der Nähe. Für das erste Frühstück war der Kühlschrank gefüllt als wir ankamen, es gibt zahlreiche Unterlagen und Tipps für Unternehmungen.

   Schade war nur, dass der Verkehrslärm trotz geschlossener Fenster gestört hat (gerade in der kleinen Gasse mit dem Kopfsteinpflaster fahrem doch viele Autos).
   Parkplätze zu bekommen ist schwierig (trotz der Anwohnerparkkarte).

   Excellent facilties and decor in the apartment. Very near the old town of Bergamo and in a quiet location.

   getting a parking place close to the apartment was difficult on some occasions but the parking permit loaned to us by the owner was invaluable.

   Good situation for visiting the Alta Citta, and quite good parking facilities. Enjoyed the very helpful and friendly advice from Massimo and Patrizia.

   A wee bit noisy with the windows open... necessary on hot days.

   We were very warmly received. The apartment looked beautiful and had several amenities (dishwasher and washing machine). Serves 6 was a bit on the tight side: a spacious bedroom with a double bed and two sofa beds in the living room (which incidentally have been good to sleep). . So we had four people sleeping in the living room. There was a luxurious bathroom, but there was also the only mirror in the apartment (not always useful if you have six of residence). powered by
