    der mangler et køleskab på gangen til fælles afbenyttelse værelserne imellem. Der mangler en parasol på terrasserne til værelserne. Der skulle være mulighed for husets gæster, at leje/låne cykler af huset.

    Donatell and Nicolo were gracious and wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were immensely helpful - even made restaurant reservations for us at a fantastic place. Their knowledge of the area, transportation, and things to see and do helped make our stay a perfect one.
    Nothing - we truly felt like we were in our own home away from home, but in beautiful Italy!

    siamo rimasti colpiti dalla professionalità, la gentilezza e la simpatia della signora Donatella. la mansarda che abbiamo affittato è arredata con gusto. la pulizia è una nota molto positiva che va sottolineata!!!!

    No me ha gustado el hecho de que la habitación doble no sea de dos camas porque en la solicitud de PLANET no hay opción para indicar habitaciçon doble con camas separadas.
    La descripción del hotel hablaba de un jardin. Efectivamente, hay jardín, pero sólo se utiliza a la hora del desayullo los domingo. Y este fue uno de los motivos por el que lo seleccionamos.

    We were travelling with another couple and wanted to stay in a high-standard B&B that was also ffriendly and helpful, and within walking distance to all the Florence city sights. Monte Oliveto was perfect! Regrettably we only had a one night stay, but this property was everything we hoped for and more. Donatella was a lovely lady who spoke very good English and helped us with all our questions. She was able to recommend a delightful restaurant nearby where we went for dinner, and also very kindly allowed us to make use of her internet facilities. Property was in a quiet street and we were able to get street parking only metres away. Highly recommended.

    Great setting away from the city but close enough to walk. Very quiet at night. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. A perfect place to stay in Florence.

    We enjoyed our stay at Monte Oliveto very much. The room was just what we wanted -- quiet, cool, beautifully furnished and with a lovely terrace. It was a relaxing place to recover from the hubbub of downtown Florence. The breakfasts were homemade and substantial. Our favorite part of Monte Oliveto, however, was Donatella, the owner. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel as if we were staying with a friend.

    We stayed at 'La Mansarda', the studio flat on the top floor of Monte Oliveto, a beautiful private house as well as a B&B, very quiet and backing onto gardens and woods, but within walking distance of the centre of Florence as well as the San Spirito/San Frediano area. There are also buses very nearby to Siena, San Miniato and the station in Florence. The flat was spacious and very attractive with a small Ikea kitchen, excellent bathroom, dining terrace and dining table inside as well, sofa with TV, radio, DVD and CD players, excellent guide books and a large and very comfortable bed. Our hosts were delightful and could not have been more helpful. The great advantage of La Mansarda is being able to dine at home and relax very comfortably in the evenings after a hard day's sight-seeing and lunch out. The extra cost of a flat is more than made up for by not having to dine out - unless one wishes. Older visitors will welcome the chance to come home in the evening and relax in great comfort on the terrace or indoors, watching TV or listening to music. It is possible to get the BBC and most European stations on theTV, I believe. There are a bakery and small supermarket round the corner and a delightful, non-touristy local restaurant called Trattoria Sabatino in nearby San Frediano, amongst others. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it unreservedly to all our friends.
    We were completely happy there, but I should warn elderly or infirm visitors that it is two flights of stairs up and also that part of bedroom area is beneath low, but picturesque, sloping beams so that you must bend over if you are walking in this area. We did not find this a problem, but we are still very flexible at 70 and 78!

    Staying at the Monte Oliveto was loke being able to live part of the florentine life. Donatella and Niccolò go out of their ways to make you feel as welcome as possible. The breakfast is a treat, the rooms are very comfortable, the location is great if you want to live Florence outside of a tourist environment. I had one of the best times ever at this B&B, and will not forget Donatella´s hospitality and "accoglienza" ever. Grazie di tutto, è stato veramente un piacere stare con voi al Monte Oliveto. A presto, sicuramente ritornerò!

    La zona è vicina al centro(10 min a piedi) e allo stesso tempo molto tranquilla. i proprietari di casa sono molto gentili e disponibili in tutto. la colazione è ottima e abbondante. la camera è molto bella.
    l'unico aspetto negativo è il bagno in comune

    We had the very best time staying in Monte Oliveto Bed and Breakfast. The room was excellent, the bed very comfortable, and the owners helpful and friendly.
    Our only problem was to find Bus 12 outside Milano Centrale train station. Bus 12 takes passengers to a stop just a few steps away from this truly wonderful bed and breakfast. It would be good to note that the number 12 bus stop is located by itself outside the train station and across the street from the other bus stops.

    The room we stayed in was beautiful, full of light and space. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. The B&B is located in a residential district that is a little far from the center of Florence but easily walkable and it gave us the opportunity to explore little shops and restaurants we would have missed otherwise. The owners Donatella and Niccolo were amazingly kind and helpful and made us feel completely at home. Oh, and the breakfasts were huge and very satisfying. We were thrilled to stay here and we'll send our friends until we come back.
    Not a thing.

    One of the best bedrooms we have stayed in since we moved to the Continent. All was of top quality; also, we had our own small balcony over the garden with chairs. Bed was VERY comfortable, shower room was excellent, hairdryer, bidet, etc. Good taste,design; small plasma t.v., teatray with chocolates,obviously lots of thought & euros spent! Pleasant residential street, about 25 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio but also bus service end of street. Owner was absolutely charming, helpful, excellent breakfast of fruit/yoghurt/bits of cheese/cake/biscuits/juice etc., all beautifully laid out.
    Only stayed 2 nights but did expect towels to be dried, bin emptied, cups washed!! Perhaps it was an oversight- would like to have emailed Donatella about this- also, possibly b/b standards are different to hotel re; this. VERY difficult to find house, as tiny sign on gate & nobody in street seemed to know of the Monte O., not even butcher at end! No doubt this will change after she has been open for a year or two. Will definitely stay again though on our next visit to Florence.

    We stayed at Wisteria room in Monte Oliveto in October 2008 for 4 nights. Since then we've visited Italy more, but Monte Oliveto stays our best and unforgettable place of staying. It has very special athmosphere - both elegant and homy, which is felt in every detail of room interier, colors, tastes of homemade breakfast and of course the very friendly and attentive treatment of the owness Donatella, Niccolo and Marta! No doubt we will stay at Monte Oliveto again when visiting Florence.

    Donatella, Marta and Niccolo are kind, wonderful people who immediately made us feel welcome in their charming, well-decorated home. They kept to themselves for the most part, never intruding, but always there if we needed them. Breakfast was one of the best that we had in our tour of Italy and is certainly worth mentioning. This B&B is on the other side of the river from downtown Florence, in a very charming and upscale neighborhood. It is only a short walk from the main sites.
    This is not really a negative at all, but the fact that our room's bathroom was outside the room, even though it was private, was a bit inconvenient.

    First of all the very, very nice Donatella with husband who took care about us, like be in a home. Nice breakfast, nice surroundings with a calm and nice atmosphere, but still central location. Easy to park a car outside. We really recommend you to go there.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Oliveto. It's situated on such a lovely, quiet, residential street in Florence and was convenient to all of the major sights. Donatella was happy to assist with anything and everything. We stayed in the private "apartment" on the top floor and I would recommend it if you can spare a few extra euro. It's private and has it's own kitchenette and balcony and a fantastic bathtub which was appreciated after a long day of walking around. We would absolutely return for another visit!
    Walking back and forth from town to the B&B was a little tiring if you had a long day of sight seeing but other than this everything was wonderful.

    Ein schöner erholsamer liebevoller Ort. Das Frühstück war köstlich + die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber besonders reizend. Wir haben unsere Tage sehr genossen. Ganz in der Nähe des Hauses gibt es schöne Plätze, die nicht von Touristen überfüllt, sondern noch ursprünglich sind und gute Restaurants.

    The hosts Donatella and Niccolo are wonderful. We loved everything about this B&B: exceptionally clean, new interior, convenient walking distance to the old city of Florence. We recommend Montel Oliveto without reservation and are looking forward to staying there again when we return to Tuscany.

    The hostess and her family were absolutely fabulous...so friendly and helpful. Very, very warm and caring people. Their home is exqusiite and they have fantastic taste. The hostess prepares a gourmet breakfast with all sorts of yummies. I would recommend a stay at Monte Oliveto to anyone travelling to Italy.

    The location and ambience were excellent. Our walks to & from the centre of Florence allowed us to explore neighbourhoods we might not otherwise have seen. Our hostesses (Marta and Donatella) were very accomodating, making the extra effort to ensure that my partner had a variety of gluten-free choices at breakfast. Our al fresco breakfasts were a delightful way to begin each day.
    The mosquitoes (we did have a mosquito net) but I think they're just a fact of Florence in September!

    Beautiful and clean room, with private balcony overlooking back-yard and greenery, great breakfast (healthy, fresh, quality foods), very friendly and welcoming owners. A room to park our bicycles, and the owners were happy to store a bag for us until our return. The house is on a quiet street not too far to walk into the old town.

    I had a great experience overall at the B&B. I was made to feel really welcome. The rooms were perfect and the breakfast delicious. It was easy to get to and from the city centre.

    La struttura è molto bella. La signora Donatella è carina e simpatica, disponibile a dare info e suggerimenti per visitare Firenze e dintorni. Ottima l'dea di avere una postazione internet che facilita prenotazioni on line presso musei.Buona la posizione, a 15/20 minuti a piedi dal centro.Zona tranquilla.
    Forse d'estate sarebbe meglio avere l'aria condizionata. Manca la TV ma a breve ci hanno detto che sarà disponibile.

    EVERYTHING was perfekt. Our room was wonderful: a beautiful bed, a big balcony and our own bathroom. Our "hostfamily" was very friendly, helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions about Florenz... In addition they are very talented in different languages. Our breakfast was typical italien style: sweet... but a lot of fresh fruits, yogourt too and an awesome cappucino every morning ;))
    nothing!!!!

Breakfast was exceptional and our hostess was charming. She made the best recommendations for dinner and helped us make reservations. She was the best. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend to anyone. The location was also excellent and within easy walking distance to most sights.
