    La Ghirlanda is absolutely beautiful and the view is stunning. The staff was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria

    My husband, sons (18 and 21 years old) and I were delighted with our stay at Ghirlanda. The farmhouse is georgeous, with a variety of elegant and comfortable common areas both inside and out. The views are spectacular, the pool very nice and peaceful, and the staff (especially Claudia) took very good care of us, including advising us on daytrips. It is easy to reach many Umbrian towns from Ghirlanda, including Perugia, Todi, and Assissi. We had the most delicious dinner of our stay at Ghirlanda's terrace restaurant. We would be very happy to visit Ghirlanda again one day.
    The driving directions the staff emailed us (from Googlemaps) were hard to follow. With good directions from Todi (specifically directions to follow signs to Saragano), we could have reached Ghirlanda from Rome in less than 1.5 hours. This was our only complaint.

    everything was perfect; location, service, food, rooms - an absolute delight. i would highly recommend it and certainly will go again. ricardo the young manager could not have been more helpful and contributed greatly towards a most enjoyable stay.
    nothing at all. however it was rather difficult to find (junctions with no signposts etc. ) the directions in the brochure we were given on leaving were very straight forward and should be used on the website, it would have saved us an hour of wandering!
