    Das Haus ist in traditioneller Bauweise mit natürlichen Materialien errichtet beziehungsweise restauriert und fügt sich harmonisch in die Landschaft ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gelungenen Ausstattung des Hauses überwiegend mit antiken Möbeln. Die Bäder sind modern, das Haus ist sehr komfortabel. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch die Möglichkeit, in einem kleinen Nutzgarten, der vom Besitzer für seine Gäste bepflanzt wird, täglich Tomaten und Gemüse zu ernten. Das Haus Colle de Selva bei Abbateggio ist wirklich ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren im Nationalpark Majella. Auch Fahrten an die Adria zum Baden (wichtig, wenn man Urlaub mit Kindern macht), sind von hier aus kein Problem.

    Very peaceful and comfortable. Incredibly helpful and friendly hosts. Nearby restaurants were fabulous.

    The owner gave us a warm welcome, a bottle of local wine and proudly asked us to rate his home made olive oil. He is also something of a historian and proud of his local heritage so no lack of info on where to go and what to see. The farm house was perfectly equipped, including hammocs and outdoor dining furniture.
    Beautiful fireplace had a ventilation problem and smoked us out a bit.
