    posto fantastico in uncastello medievale, collegato ottimamente a siena e tutta la valle del chianti. personale squisito. vista su campi tipici toscani dai colori meravigliosi. ci torneremo di sicuro in primavera quando sarà aperta anche la piscina

    Our hostess was extremely friendly and very helpful, and recommended an excellent restaurant witihin a short walk from the hotel. We enjoyed the Castel's own wine, sipping it beside the lovely pool with views over the surrounding countryside. The hotel staff also kindly did some laundry for us.
    Some other hotel guests were very noisy during our first night's stay. Of course the owner could not be responsible for others' inconsiderate behaviour, but perhaps something could be done with the building to prevernt the doors from slamming so loudly.

    We absolutely loved our 3-day stay at Castel Pietraio. A very well maintained castle in the middle of a magnificent piece of Tuscany. The place was very calm and quiet and was a perfect place for relaxing, and a base for reaching nearby villages and wineries. The staff was very friendly and helpful to make the most out of our vacation. We also enjoyed the tour of the winery - and the wine was actually very good! We would strongly recommend staying at Castel Pietraio.

    We had a pleasent and very good stay at Castel Pietraio. It was possible for us to park our veterancar safely, and it meant that we could relax and enjouyour stay very much. The staf was wery helpfull and our room and surroundings were beautyfull. We would like to come back some other time.
